What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE 

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Henry Hospitality & Media Ltd in respect of premises known as Martins Arms located at School Lane, Colston Bassett, Nottinghamshire, NG12 3FD to Rushcliffe Borough Council on 05 August 2025 for the variation of a premises licence. 

The proposed variation is: 

1. To amend the layout of the premises. 

2. To update and modify the premises licence limitations and restrictions by way of removal of the embedded restrictions under the Licensing Act 1964 relating to Good Friday, Christmas Day, Sundays and to align the sale of alcohol with the standard timings for other existing licensable activities authorised by the licence. 

Full details of the application are contained within the application form held by the licensing authority at Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YG where the licensing register can be inspected during the authority’s normal opening hours or at www.rushcliffe.gov.uk. 

Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to the licensing authority at the above address or to licensing@rushcliffe.gov.uk no later than 02 September 2025, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made. 

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. 

The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
