NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO
VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER
THE GAMBLING ACT 2005

Notice is hereby given that: Grosvenor Casinos Limited
of the following address: TOR, Saint-Cloud Way,
Maidenhead, SL6 8BN is applying under Section 187 of the
Gambling Act 2005 to vary a Small Casino Premises
Licence under that Act. The application relates to the
following premises: Grosvenor Casino, 35 Park Street West,
Luton, LU1 3BE. This application to vary the Gambling
Act 2005 Small Casino Premises licence is submitted under
s187 of the Gambling Act 2005 so as to increase the ratio
of machines to gaming tables from 2:1 to 5:1 as per The
Casinos (Gaming Machines and Mandatory Conditions)
Regulations 2025 Regulations 2007 (as amended by s4(3)
of The Casinos (Gaming Machines and Mandatory
Conditions) Regulations 2025). There are no physical
changes to the premises other than the machine and table
layouts. The application has been made to: Licensing
Service, Luton Borough Council, Town Hall, George Street,
Luton, LU1 2BQ Email:

licensing@luton.gov.uk.

Information about the application is available from the
licensing authority, including the arrangements for viewing
the details of the application. Any of the following persons
may make representations in writing to the licensing
authority about the application: A person who lives
sufficiently close to the premises to be likely to be affected
by the authorised activities; A person who has business
interests that might be affected by the authorised activities;
A person who represents someone in any of the above two
categories. Any representations must be made by the
following date: 31 August 2025.
It is an offence under section 342 of the Gambling Act
2005 if a person, without reasonable excuse, gives to a
licensing authority for a purpose connected with that
Act information which is false or misleading.
