Bush Inn, Main Street – Variation of Premises Licence
What is proposed?

Application has been made by Marston’s PLC to the Licensing Authority of Cumberland Council (Allerdale)(www.cumberland.gov.uk) to vary the Premises Licence for the Bush Inn, Main Street, Cockermouth, Cumbria, CA13 9JS. The application includes the following terms:
To extend the terminal hour for sale of alcohol on Fridays and Saturdays to 01.00 the following mornings and the same extension for certain bank holidays and on other limited days as specified in the application.
To permit late night refreshment for the same hours currently permitted and proposed under this application for sale of alcohol.
To add a new condition to the premises licence relating to door staff as more particularised in the application.
A copy of the application can be viewed at Allerdale Borough Council, Licensing Section, Allerdale House, New Bridge Road, Workington during normal office hours. Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to Allerdale Borough Council, Licensing Department, Allerdale House, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 3YJ by email to licensing@allerdale.gov.uk not later than 27 August 2025.
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
