NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
PREMISES: The Canny Lad & Vibe, Bede Way, Peterlee SR8 1BU
Notice is given that Easteye Limited applied to Durham County Council on 30th July 2025 for a Premises Licence for the above premises for the following licensable activities:

Films, live and recorded music, performance of dance and anything similar to music and dancing; supply of alcohol:
Monday to Wednesday from 09:00 to 01:00 hrs and Thursday to Sunday from 09:00 to 02:30

Late night refreshment:
Monday to Wednesday from 23:00 to 01:00 hrs and Thursday to Sunday from 23:00 to 02:30 daily.
Seasonal variations are sought as follows:

All licensed activities may be extended from finish time on New Year's Eve to start time on New Year’s Day.

All licensed activities may be extended from finish time until 02:30 on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.

All licensed activities may be extended for an additional hour on the day that GMT becomes BST.
A record of this application may be inspected at the Council’s offices at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham DH7 8RS by appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
