Great North Road - Application for a Premises Licence

What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 

Notice of application on 4 August 2025 to Newcastle City Council for the Variation of a Premises Licence by Shell UK Oil Products Limited for Shell Gosforth, Great North Road, Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE3 2DT to remove all existing conditions under annex 3, remove the existing spirits condition and replace it with an up-to-date spirits condition, add a condition to annex 2 relating to bulk stack, wine towers and promo alcohol locations. 

Any representations in respect of the application in writing to Licensing Authority at Newcastle City Council, Public Safety and Regulation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QH; or to licensing@newcastle.gov.uk by 1 September 2025. 

A record of the application can be inspected at the Council offices (above) during office hours or via www.portal.newcastle.gov.uk 

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application punishable with an unlimited fine on summary conviction.
