What is proposed?
PUBLIC NOTICE - LICENSING ACT 2003
To Whom It May Concern:
We Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust Limited do hereby give notice that we have applied to the Licensing Authority (Conwy County Borough Council) for the variation of our Premises Licence at Gwrych Castle, Llanddulas Road, Abergele, Conwy, LL22 8ET known as Gwrych Castle.
The application is to vary the hours of live music, recorded music, and something similar to live and recorded music. This variation would change the hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 11pm till 1am as it currently states to 10am till 1am.
This would be to allow musical events to be held at the Castle with a capacity of more than 500. We will add a condition that no more than 4 musical events with a capacity of more than 500 will take place in a calendar year. Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Head of Licensing Services, PO Box 1, Colwyn Bay, LL29 0GG not later than 28 days after the date of this notice (as below).
Representations received after this date will not be considered.
A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address during normal office hours.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, there is an unlimited fine on summary of conviction.
