Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Licence

TAKE NOTICE that NOCHE GROUP LIMITED, company number NI727310, whose registered office address is at 45 Belmont Road, Belfast, BT4 2AA ("the Applicant") intends to apply to Laganside Magistrates' Court sitting at Laganside Courthouse, 23-27 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LA at 10.00am on 2nd September 2025 for the transfer to it of a licence at present held by Duadthetwo Ltd, company number NI696964, whose registered office address is at 15 Blackwood Crescent, Helen's Bay, Bangor, BT19 1TJ for premises situate at 45 Belmont Road, Belfast, BT4 2AA, being premises of a kind specified in Article 5(1)(e) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely:



Restaurant premises such as are specified in Article 2 of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises, not being of a kind mentioned in Article 5(1)(a), in which there is carried on the business of selling meals or refreshments, which are structurally adapted and used for the purpose of providing persons frequenting the premises with a main table meal at midday or in the evening, or both.



The Applicant is a private company limited by shares of which the following persons are directors:



Adrian Peter Hamilton and Callan Carrigan Cork, both of 45 Belmont Road, Belfast, BT4 2AA, no other persons having executive control.



A Protection Order authorising the Applicant to carry on the business under the licence was granted on 6th May 2025 by the Magistrates' Court sitting at Laganside Courthouse for the period of 6 months from the date of the Order.



The Applicant is the owner of the business carried on under the licence.



The owner of the premises is McGimpsey Enterprises Limited, whose registered address is at Aisling House, 50 Stranmillis Road, Belfast, BT9 6FL.



The Licence will be deposited with the clerk of the petty sessions before or at the hearing of the application.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of the Petty Sessions not less than one week before the time of the court sitting at which the application is to be heard and the permissible grounds of objection are those specified in Article 22(6) of the Licensing Order.
