What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to the North Yorkshire Council to vary a premises licence under the above Licensing Act 2003.

Applicant: Yorkshire Essential Oils Ltd.

Address of premises: Yorkshire Lavender, Terrington, York, YO60 6PB.

Proposed variation to the licensable activities:

Extend the terminal hour of sale of alcohol from 17:00 to 20:00 daily.

No other changes to be made.

The postal address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected is:

Licensing Team, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 7HH.

Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature and grounds for making such representations to The Licensing Officer at the above address or at licensing.rye@northyorks.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this notice – by the 26th August 2025.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application and the maximum fine on summary conviction of such an offence is £5000.
