Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of Filly & Flagon (prev Gate Inn) 12 Yorkersgate Malton YO17 7AB for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for: This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan (drawing no 822-L1). The changes reflect a new style of operation with a casual dining offer, with craft and cask ales and a more premium offer. The food offer will be a mix of small plates for informal dining, combined with some weekend formal dining. Given the change in style and operation of the premises, there are some operational conditions that the applicant seeks to remove/amend from Annex 2. All operating hours, licensable activities and remaining conditions authorised by the premises licence are to remain unchanged. Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: North Yorkshire Council, Licensing Department, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7HH or by email to licensing.rye@northyorks.gov.uk. Representations must be received by the end of 25th August 2025. The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
