What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Ellie Rose Cook to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of Rose Box, Church Street, Darton, Barnsley, S75 5HQ on the following terms: Provision of recorded music, indoors: Monday to Wednesday from 12:00 until 21:00, Thursday from 12:00 until 22:00, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 until 23:00 and Sunday from 12:00 until 19:00 Non-standard timings: Bank Holiday Sundays and Boxing Day until 22:00, and New Year’s Eve until 00:30 (the following morning).
Supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises: Monday to Wednesday from 12:30 until 20:30, Thursday from 12:30 until 21:30, Friday and Saturday from 12:30 until 22:30, Sunday from 12:30 until 18:30 Non-standard timings: Bank Holiday Sundays and Boxing Day until 21:30 and New Year’s Eve until midnight. Opening hours to match hours in “recorded music” section above.
Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 25th August 2025.

Notes: 1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
