What is proposed?

Public Notice of an Application to vary a Premises
Licence under Section 34 of The Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to
Portsmouth City Council for a premises licence variation
under the above Act on 4th August 2025 and will
commence consultation on the 5th August 2025. Applicant:
Agnni Retails Limited. Address of premises: London Road
Post Office, 402-404 London Road, Portsmouth, PO2 9LA.
Proposed variation to the licensable activities: Additional
hours for the sale of alcohol for consumption off the
premises; Add the licensing activity for the provision of late
night refreshment (LNR); Update premises licence scale
plan. Remove all Annex 2 Conditions. Proposed days and
hours of licensable activity: Every Day - Alcohol Sales:
00.00 to 24.00 hours; LNR: 23.00 to 05.00 hours the
following morning. The postal address of the Licensing
Authority where the register is kept and the application may
be inspected is: * The Licensing Service, Portsmouth City
Council, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, PO1
2AL. Any person wishing to make representations on this
matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature and
grounds for making such representations to The Licensing
Officer at the above address* within 28 working days of the

date of this notice by the 1st September 2025. Further infor-

the offence is punishable on summary conviction on or after
