PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION TO VARY A CLUB PREMISES CERTIFICATE UNDER SECTION 84 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to SOLIHULL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL for an application of a premises licence under the above Act on Wednesday 23rd July 2025

Applicant: CAMP HILL RUGBY CLUB LTD Address of premises: Sports Ground, Rear Of 119 Haslucks Green Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 2EF

Proposed licensable activities: The premises seeks to extend the terminal hours. One additional hour to 01:00hrs, Friday into Saturday & Saturday into Sunday. Extension of opening hours from 10:00am, Monday to Sunday. An extra hour for New years Eve into New years day. Update of Licensing Plan: The licensing plan has been updated. Conditions:- ‘In the event of any recognised International Sporting Event which falls outside the current
permitted hours on the Premises License to permit the activity commencing one hour before the start of the event and ending one hour after the event’. Activities:- The inclusion of ‘Films’. The inclusion of ‘Late Night Refreshments’.

Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature and grounds for making such representations to the Licensing Team at the above address or by email to licensing@solihull.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this notice by the Wednesday 20th August 2025

It is an offence, under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement on or in connection with an application and the maximum fine on summary conviction of such an offence is £5000.
