What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE 

Notice is hereby given that Scarlet Wines Limited has applied in respect of Scarlet Wines, 40 Arwenack Street, Falmouth, TR11 3JG for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: Opening Hours - Monday – Sunday 0900 to 2330. Sale of Alcohol (on and off sales) - Monday – Sunday 1000 to 2300. Non-standard timings. 

The hours for the provision of licensable activities (including Late Night Refreshment from 23:00) during Falmouth Carnival Week, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (going into New Years Day) shall be extended through to no later than 0200 (with closing 30 minutes thereafter.

A responsible authority or other person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Licensing Team, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Truro TR1 3AY or email licensing@cornwall.gov.uk not later than 29 August 2025.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
