Notice is hereby given that I, Mrs Shelia Suddick, have applied to the Durham County Council in respect of the premises known as CROWN AND CROSSED SWORDS, SHOTLEY BRIDGE, CONSETT, DH8 0HU for a Variation of a Premises Licence to permit the following proposed licensable activities: Sale of Alcohol Monday to Sunday 08:00 - 00:00 On and Off Sales New Years Eve for a 36hr continuous period until New Years Day. Each Day preceding Easter Friday, Easter Sunday and Each Day preceding a Bank Holiday until 01:00.

The full application can be inspected at the Council's offices at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham. DH7 8RS by appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm. A Responsible Authority or Other Party under the Licensing Act 2003 can make representations/ objections to these applications. Representations must be made in writing by 18th AUGUST 2025 and sent to: Durham County Council, Licensing Services, PO Box 617, Durham. DH1 9HZ alternatively email: licensing@durham.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
