What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Thujeeth Mahalingam to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of T&T Convenience Store, 50 Sheffield Road, Barnsley, S70 1HS on the following terms: Provision of late night refreshment for consumption outdoors: Seven days a week from 23:00 until 05:00 (the following morning) Supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises: Seven days a week from 00:00 until 23:59 Opening times to match alcohol hours above. Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 19th August 2025 Dated: 23rd July 2025 Notes: 1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale. 2. The application is available for inspection by contacting licensing@barnsley.gov.uk.
