What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Marston’s PLC to the Licensing Authority of Lincoln City Council (www.lincoln.gov.uk) to vary the Premises Licence for the Magna Carta at 1 Exchequer Gate, Lincoln, LN2 1PZ. The application includes the following terms: 1. To advance the commencement hour for all existing licensable activities to 09:00 daily. The record of applications may be inspected by request of The Licensing Team, Communities & Environment, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1DD via request at licensing@lincoln.gov.uk.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Team, Communities & Environment, City of Lincoln Council at the above address by 18 August 2025.

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
