What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 Notice of Application for the Grant of a Premises Licence

Take notice that on 23 July 2025 Philippa Myers of Fourth Milestone Cottages York, and Kate Starkey of 67 The Village York made application to the City of York Council for the grant of a Premises Licence at The Fox Inn, 90 The Village, Stockton on the Forest, York YO32 9UW.

The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Team (Tel: 01904 552422) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Representations to this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Team, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS, or by email to licensing@york.gov.uk. Representations must be received by no later than 20 August 2025 being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made.

Proposed licensable activities and their timings are as follows: Sunday to Wednesday 10:00-00:00 Supply of alcohol, live and recorded music, Thursday to Saturday 10:00-01:00 Supply of alcohol, live and recorded music, Sunday to Wednesday 23:00 - 00:00 Late night refreshment, Thursday to Saturday 23:00 - 01:00 Late night refreshment.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the grant of a premises licence or club premises certificate. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to an unlimited fine.
