Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water G.S. Shropshire & Sons Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/56/*S/0013 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Cut-Off Channel, un-named drains and a catchpit within the South Level System at West Dereham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
The variation applied for is to extend the abstraction reach within the Cut-Off Channel. The reach currently stretches between National Grid References TL 64450 99410 and TL 65530 99680, the proposal is to change this to between TL 64450 99410 and TL 69888 90468.
