What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence
under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Nicholas Mason in respect of
Premises known as The King’s Head, 30 Church Street,
Market Harborough, LE16 7AA applied to Harborough
District Council Licensing Team for a Variation of a
Premises Licence. The proposed variation is: To extend the
Licensable Activities of the Performance of Plays (indoors),
Exhibition of films (indoors), Indoor Sporting Events,
Boxing or Wrestling, Playing of Live Music (indoors),
Playing of Recorded music (indoors) Provision of Late
Night Refreshment (indoors) and The Sale by Retail of
Alcohol (for consumption on and off the premises) from
09:00 until 04:00 Thursdays to Saturdays. To extend the
premises opening hours from 09:00 until 04:30 Thursdays
to Saturdays. To extend the premises non-standard timings
to read as follows: ‘Permitted licensable activities from
09:00 to 05:00 the following day on Sunday and Monday
of all Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day with
the premises closing to the public at 05:30. From the end
of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of
permitted hours on New Year’s Day.’To vary the Premises
Licence conditions. Please see the application for further
details. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned
application must be received in writing by, Harborough
District Council, Council Offices, Adam and Eve Street,
Market Harborough, LE16 7AG or via email at

no later than 15th August
2025 stating the grounds for representation. The register of
Harborough District Council and the record of the
application may be inspected at the address of the council,
given above, during normal business hours or on the

liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
