What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Parkdean Holiday Parks Limited in respect of Premises to be known as Challaborough Bay Holiday Park, Challaborough Beach, Near Bigbury on Sea, Kingsbridge, TQ7 4HU applied to South Hams District Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to remove reference to “Christies” and “Waterfront Bar” from the premises licence and change the premises name to “Challaborough Bay Holiday Park”; also to amend the hours for sale of alcohol both on and off the premises and regulated entertainment including the addition of Indoor Sporting Events Sunday to Thursday 1000 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 1000 to 0200 the following morning; late night refreshment Sunday to Thursday 2300 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 2300 to 0200 the following morning; current opening hours Sunday to Thursday 0800 to 0030 the following morning, Friday and Saturday 0800 to 0230 the following morning to apply to the whole site and to remove second list of opening hours from existing licence; all licensable activities and opening hours to extended for New Year’s Eve, British Summertime and the Sunday preceding a Bank Holiday Monday as listed in the application; also to amend the layout plans to add the Chip Shop and the outdoor seating areas to the licensed area for sale of alcohol and late night refreshment. Also to amend and remove outdated conditions to be replaced with more appropriate conditions.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
