What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Ship Inn, 804 Warrington Road, Rainhill, Prescot, Merseyside, L35 6PE applied to St Helens Borough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to vary the layout of the premises in accordance with plans supplied by the applicant such variation to have effect upon the completion of the works as notified to the Licensing Authority in writing.
Permitted hours and licensable activities remain as existing.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received online via

no later than 13 August 2025 stating the grounds for representation. All representations must include the full name, address and contact details of the interested party, or responsible authority making the representation.
The register of and the record of the application may be inspected at St Helens Borough Council, Wesley House, Corporation Street, St Helens, WA10 1HF, during normal business hours, or if available, on the council’s website www.sthelens.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
