Stoney Street - Application to Vary a Premises Licence
What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Angel microbrewery Limited in respect of Premises known as Old Angel, 7 Stoney Street, Nottingham, NG1 1LG applied to Nottingham City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is:
1. To extend the sale of alcohol (on and off) on the Ground Floor to cease at 03:00 every day.
2. To extend Late Night Refreshments on the Ground Floor to cease at 03:30 every day.
3. To extend recorded music on the Ground Floor to cease at 03:00 every day.
4. To extend opening hours on the Ground Floor to close at 03:30 every day.
5. To add seasonal variation for the commencement of British Summertime to all licensable activities on the Ground Floor.
6. To remove conditions 1, 2 and 6 and replace with wording agreed with the police. Such variation is to take effect as soon as possible. All other permitted hours, licensable activities and conditions are to remain as existing. See application for full details.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Authority, Nottingham City Council, Humber Building, Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham, NG2 3AH or by email to general.licensing@nottinghamcity.gov.uk no later than 12 August 2025 stating the grounds for representation.
The register of Nottingham City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, between 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday by prior appointment or on the council’s website - www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application.
A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
