What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 

Notice is hereby given that Heron Foods Limited in respect of premises known as Heron Foods, Units 2 & 3, 9 High Street, Ormesby, TS7 9PD, applied to Middlesbrough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to seek approval of the plan submitted with the application, which can be viewed upon request, to extend the store into the adjacent unit (Unit 2). The store will now be Unit 2 & 3.

To reduce the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol off the premises on a Sunday only from the current hours of 08:00 to 20:00 to the proposed hours of 10:00 to 16:00.

The opening hours on a Sunday will be 10:00 to 16:00.

Anyone wishing to make representations in respect of this application should write to Middlesbrough Council at the address stated below. Representations must be made in writing and no later than 13 August 2025.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to level 5 (unlimited amount) on the standard scale, under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connections with this application.
