What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Molly Malone’s Derby Limited to the Licensing Authority of Derby City Council to vary the premises licence for Molly Malone’s Irish Tavern,

1 The Strand, Derby, DE1 1BJ. The application includes the following terms:

1. To extend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol daily from 03:00hrs to 04:00hrs with the premises closing to the public 30 minutes thereafter.

2. To enable Regulated Entertainment and the provision of late-night refreshment (as specified in the application) to be provided when the Premises are open for the sale of alcohol.

3. To advance licensing hours by 1 hour on the commencement of British Summertime to replace the hour lost.

Any party wishing to make a representation in respect of this application can do so in writing to the above address, or by e-mail to licensing@derby.gov.uk before the date specified below.

Petitions cannot be accepted; representations must be individual.

The date by which representations must be made is: 8th August 2025. Any representations received after this date will not be accepted.

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a licensing application and the fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
