Space (and Ten Bar), 10-20 Duncan Street - Change to Premises Licence
What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Mortalman Limited in respect
of Premises known as Space (and Ten Bar), 10-20 Duncan
Street, Leeds, LS1 6DL, have applied to Leeds City Council
for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to seek approval of the plan
submitted with the application, which can be viewed upon
request, to remove the first floor of Ten Bar from the
licensed area and to vary the ground floor of Ten Bar to
include the former estate agents at 12 Duncan Street.There
will be no increase in capacity which will remain at 490
people as per Condition 16 on the Premises Licence. To
amend Condition 122 of the Premises Licence which reads
“There will be a minimum of 60 seats in total in the ground
and first floor of the premises accessed from Duncan
Street” to read “There will be a minimum of 60 seats in total
on the ground floor of the premises accessed from Duncan
Street”. To remove condition 127 of the Premises Licence
which reads “The ground and first floor of the premises
accessed from Duncan Street will only operate on nights
when the basement area of Space is trading”.
Any representations about this application must be made in
writing by 11th August 2025 and sent to the Licensing
Service, Leeds City Council, Civic Hall, Leeds, LS1 1UR
or via email
entertainment.licensing@leeds.gov.uk
The
record of the application may be inspected at the address of
the council, given above, during normal business hours or
on the council's website
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for
the offence is unlimited.
