NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE PROVISIONAL GRANT OF A BINGO CLUB LICENCE

TAKE NOTICE that we LARNE BINGO LIMITED (company number NI731092) whose registered office address is 1st Floor 34 B-D Main Street, Moira, Craigavon, County Armagh, United Kingdom, BT67 0LE intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Courthouse, Albert Place, Ballymena, BT43 5BS on 4th August 2025 at 10am for the Provisional Grant of a Bingo Club Licence for Carnival Bingo at Unit 1B Murrayfield Shopping Centre, Point Street, Larne, BT40 1HU.



The owner of the proposed premises is MSC Estates Limited (company number NI639963) whose registered office address is Northern Bank House, Main Street, Kesh, Co. Fermanagh, United Kingdom, BT93 1TF.



The applicant is a body corporate and:

(a) The name of the director is Alan Humphries;

(b) The name of the person having executive control is the said Alan Humphries;

(c) The name of the person having a financial interest is the said Alan Humphries; and

(d) The following is a statement of the nature and extent of the financial interest of the person named at (c) and includes a description of any right of direction or instruction to the director given by that financial interest: Alan Humphries is the sole director and shareholder of Larne Bingo Limited.



Attached is a plan of the premises for which the provisional licence is sought showing the premises as they will be when their construction, alteration or extension has been completed.



AND TAKE NOTICE that we intend to apply under Article 63(9) of the said Order for a direction specifying the number of gaming machines which may be made available for gaming on the bingo club premises.



AND TAKE NOTICE that any person who intends to object to the provisional grant of the licence must, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 9 of the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusements (Northern Ireland) Order 1985, serve notice of his intention to object upon the Applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the date of the Court sitting at which the application is to be made. The permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 63(4) and (6) of the said Order.
