Notice of Application for the
Transfer of a Licence

In the North Eastern Administrative Court Division
Magistrates’ Court of Northern Ireland at Ballymena

TAKE NOTICE that Drennan Consultancy Limited, the registered office of which is situate at 44a
Drumane Road, Kilrea, BT51 5XQ intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at The
Courthouse, Albert Place, Ballymena, BT43 5BS at 10.00am on the 24 th day of July 2025 for the
transfer to it of a licence at present held by Dreenan Enterprises Limited (in liquidation) c/o The
Insolvency Service, Adelaide House, 39/49 Adelaide Street, Belfast, BT2 8FD for premises known as
The Wild Duck, situate at Main Street, Portglenone, County Antrim being premises of a kind specified
in Article 5(1)(e) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
A Protection Order authorising Drennan Consultancy Limited aforesaid to carry on the business under
the licence was granted on the 30 th January 2024 by the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Ballymena
Courthouse aforesaid for the period of 6 months from the date of the order.
Drennan Consultancy Limited aforesaid is the owner of the business carried on under the licence. The
sole director of Drennan Consultancy Limited is Kimberly Frances Madden of 44a Drumane Road,
Kilrea, BT51 5XQ.
The owner of the premises is Tullymore Bar and Restaurant Limited the registered office of which is at
40 Tirkeeran Road, Garvagh, BT51 5AX.
The licence will be deposited with the clerk of petty sessions before or at the hearing of the
application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in
premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of licence is sought who intends to
object to the grant of such Transfer of the licence must, in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5
to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 serve notice of intention to object upon the applicant
and the Clerk of Petty Sessions, not less than one week before the time of opening of the court sitting
specified herein.
AND the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22 (6) (a) to (c) of the
Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely failure to comply with correct procedure, unfitness of
the applicant or that the business carried on in the premises under the licence has been discontinued.
