What is proposed?
Public Notice – Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that: We, Tesco Stores
Limited have applied to the Licensing Authority at
North Yorkshire Council (Harrogate) for the grant
of a Premises Licence in respect of the premises
known as Tesco Superstore, located at: Tesco
Skipton Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1
3DW (Ordnance Map Survey Reference: SE
29464 56702). The location and extent of the
premises can be identified on the layout plan
enclosed with the application which has been
deposited with the Licensing Authority. The
application proposes to carry on the following
licensable activities on or from the premises:
• The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption off
the premises during the following days: MondaySunday, 00:00-23:59 (24 hours)
• The provision of late-night refreshment (indoors)
during the following days: Monday-Sunday, 23:00-
05:00
The record of the application may be inspected at
the register of the Licensing Authority at North
Yorkshire Council, Civic Centre, St. Luke’s Avenue,
Harrogate, HG1 2AE by prior appointment only
and during normal office hours, Monday to Friday
(except Bank Holidays). Appointments may be
made by telephone on 01423 500600 or via email
at licensing.har@northyorks.gov.uk. The record of
the application may also be inspected via the
online register of the Licensing Authority, https://
secure.harrogate.gov.uk/PublicRegisters/. Any
interested party or responsible authority may make
representations to the Licensing Authority in
response to this application. Representations must
be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the
following address: The Licensing Team, North
Yorkshire Council, PO Box 787, HG1 9RW or sent
via email to licensing.har@northyorks.gov.uk.
Representation must be made no later than
16/07/2025.
It is an offence, under Section 158 of the Licensing
Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in or in connection with this application.
Those who make a false statement may be liable
on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
