What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Everyman Media Limited in respect of premises to be known as Everyman Cinema, The Whiteley, Queensway, London, W2 4YN, applied to the City of Westminster for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to seek approval of the plans submitted with the application, which can be viewed upon request, to make the following alterations: Ground Floor - Minor change to the fixed seating at the entrance, which has been reduced in size to not block escape doors; the kitchen pass has been moved to back of house; and some minor changes to the starting point of the first flight of stairs. Basement 1 - Change of location of the entrance lobbies to screens 2 and 3 and a fire escape corridor has been added between screens 1 and 2. Basement 2 - Fire rated stair lobby has moved left closer to the lift; the bar has been omitted and replaced with a hidden dispense bar; the location of entrance lobby to screen 4 has been relocated along with a change of seating in screen 4; and the toilet orientation has been altered to suit available drainage points. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
