What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a
Premises License under Section 17 of the
Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that James Hall & Company
Ltd have applied to North Yorkshire Council for the
grant of a Premises License in respect of premises
to be known as Former Central Garage, High
Street, Castleton YO21 2DB. The proposed
licensable activities are: • Sale by Retail of Alcohol
(Off Sales) 07:00 – 22:00.
Any representations regarding the above
mentioned application must be received in writing
by North Yorkshire Licensing Services, Town Hall,
St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, YO11 2HG or via
email at

licensing.sca@northyorks.gov.uk

no later
than 09/07/2025 stating the grounds for the
representation. The register and the record of this
application may be inspected at the North Yorkshire
Council office at the address given above during
normal business hours, or on the council’s website

www.northyorks.gov.uk.


It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing
Act 2003 knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A
person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction
should such a false statement be made.
All representations must include the full name,
address, telephone number and email address of
the person making the representation.
