Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited - Martongate - Variation to Premises Licence

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure
Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Friendly
Forester, 1 Martongate, Bridlington, YO16 6YS applied to
East Riding of Yorkshire Council for a Variation of a
Premises Licence. The proposed variation is: 1. To vary the
layout of the premises to incorporate an external bar in line
with layout plan 1095-L2 revision A. The hours of
operation for the external bar will be limited to 12:00 until
20:00 Monday to Sunday. 2. To remove the current
conditions attached to the licence under Annex 2 and add
conditions agreed with Police (Julian Griffin). 3. To reduce
the recorded music hours in line with the premises opening
hours, namely 07:00 – 00:30 Monday to Sunday and for the
additional Non standard timings. 4. To remove mention of
the Licensing Act 1964 under “Further details” on the
recorded music box on the licence. Any representations
regarding the above-mentioned application must be
received in writing by, Licensing Team, East Riding of
Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA no
later than 8 July 2025 stating the grounds for representation.
The register of and the record of the application may be
inspected at the address of the council, given above, during
normal business hours or on the council’s website.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
