What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE – LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mr. Ed Gransden has applied to Medway Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of: Sailing Barge Lady Daphne, Ship Lane, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1DA.

The application is for the following licensable activities: Plays, Films, Live Music, Recorded Music, and Similar Entertainment: Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 01:00 Late Night Refreshment: Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 01:00 Supply of Alcohol (on and off sales): Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 01:00 Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 01:00.

The barge is a historic vessel used for cultural and sailing events, docked primarily in Rochester. Any person wishing to make representations in respect of this application must do so in writing to: Licensing Team, Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TR or by email to licensing@medway.gov.uk by 11 July 2025.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application. A person found guilty of such an offence is liable to a fine of any amount.
