NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE

TRANSFER OF A LICENCE

TAKE NOTICE that we, Chicken 33 Ltd having its registered office at 15 Blackwood Crescent, Bangor, Co Down, BT19 1TJ intend at the Magistrates' Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL on 1st July 2025 2025 at 10.00am to apply for the transfer to us of a licence at present held by Stephen McAuley of 4 Rocky Road, Belfast, BT5 7JQ for the premises at 4 Belmont Road, Belfast being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises specified in Article:

5(1)(e) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises not being of a kind mentioned in Article 5(1)(a) in which there is carried on the business of selling meals and refreshments, which are structurally adapted and used for the purpose of providing persons frequenting the premises with a customary main table meal at mid-day or in the evening or both.



A protection order authorising Chicken 33 Ltd of 15 Blackwood Crescent, Bangor, Co Down, BT19 1TJ to carry on business under the licence was granted on 25th March 2025 by the Magistrates' Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL for the period of six months from the date of the order.



The following body corporate owns the business carried on under the Licence-

Chicken 33 Ltd being a limited liability company of which the following persons are the directors-

Niall Davis of 15 Blackwood Crescent, Bangor, Co Down, BT19 1TJ

And the following are the executive controllers - none

The owner of the premises is Timothy Jeffrey Lemon, Andrew Jospeh David Allen, Lorraine Elaine McCutcheon and Kathleen Christine Anne Clarke as trustees of Victoria Unionist Association c/o 2-4 Belmont Road, Belfast,

BT4 2AN

The licence will be deposited with the clerk of petty

sessions before or at the hearing of the application.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in the vicinity of the licensed premises who intends to object to the transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order of 1996 serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the before the time of the Court sitting specified in this Notice.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22 (6) of the said Order of 1996 namely:-

(a) The procedure relating to the Application set out in Schedule 5 of the said Order of 1996 has not been complied with

(b) That the Applicant is not a fit person to hold a Licence

(c) That the business carried on the premises has been discontinued

(ii) the DCU Commander at Ards and North Down District Command Unit, PSNI Station, 3 Castle Park Avenue, Bangor, Co Down, BT20 4BN (district headquarters for the police district command unit in which the Applicant has its registered office).

(iii) Belfast City Council, Cecil Ward Building, 4-10 Linenhall Street, Belfast, BT2 8BP (district council for the district in which the premises are situated).
