What is proposed?

Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Wolverhampton Racecourse Limited in respect of Premises known as Wolverhampton Racecourse, Dunstall Park, Gorsebrook Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV6 0PE applied to Wolverhampton City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to vary the layout of the premises to include a Greyhound Track within the Centre Ring of the premises and minor changes to the internal Grandstand layout plans,such plans to take effect upon the completion of works as notified to the Licensing Authority in writing.
Any activities carried out on Greyhound Race Days would adhere to the same hours as those permitted currently and any conditions proposed in this application; also, to remove the outdated conditions, now replaced with more updated relevant conditions relating to current policies and procedures. There are no changes to the existing licensable activities and hours.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email to

or by post to Licensing Services,Civic Centre, St Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton,WV1 1SH no later than 3rd July 2025 stating the grounds for representation.The register of Wolverhampton City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website –
