What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that I. Nejmi Hassan of 4 Green Lane Business Park 238 Green Lane New Eltham SE9 3TL have applied to Cantebury City Council for the VARIATION of premise licence [KE-Pr-18-00364]in respect of the proposed variation is only to extend the hours for the following activies to 01:30am on a Friday and Saturday from the current 23:45pm.

Activities include the following : For carrying on or proposing to carry on a business which involves the use of the premise for licensable activities. Namely provision of recorded music 09:00 until 23:00 Monday - Thursday and 09:00 until 01:30 Friday & Saturday [currently 23:45] and 9:00 until 23:00 Sunday.

Provision of performances of dance 09:00 until 23:00 Monday - Thursday and 09:00 until 01:30 Friday & Saturday [currently 23:45] and 09:00 until 23:00 Sunday.

Provision of late night refreshment Friday and Saturday evenings 23:00 until 01:30 [currently 23:45]. Sale and supply of alcohol on the premises 09:00 until 23:00 Monday - Thursday and 09:00 until 01:30 Friday & Saturday [currently 23:45] and 09:00 until 23:00 Sundays.

For the premises VIBE COMMUNITY HALL situated at 55 CENTRAL PARADE HERNE BAY KENT CT6 5JG. 

A register of licensing applications can be inspected at https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/licences-and-permissions/search-licensing-register or at Council Offices, 14 Rose Lane, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2UR tel. 01227 862000 by appointment with the Licensing Team between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Any person wishing to submit representations to my application must give notice in writing to the address shown above, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 02/07/2025. The council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. In the case of an application for a provisional statement, please note that representations will be restricted once a statement has been issued.
