What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that Canteen West Limited has applied in respect of the Canteen, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3QY for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to amend the hours when the premises is permitted to provide licensable activities, the premises opening hours and non-standard timings. The new hours shall be as follows: Opening Hours - Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 01:30, Friday and Saturday 08:30 – 03:30. Films; Plays (indoors) Monday to Thursday 11:00 - 12:30, Friday and Saturday 11:00 – 12:30. Live Music; Recorded Music; Dance; Anything Similar to Live Music, Recorded Music or Dance (indoors) Monday to Thursday 11:00 - 01:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00 – 03:00. Sale of Alcohol (on and off sales) Monday to Thursday 11:00 - 01:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00 – 03:00. Late Night Refreshment (indoors) Monday to Thursday 23:00 - 01:00, Friday and Saturday 23:00 – 03:00. This application also amends Non-Standard timings for all licensable activities. 

All conditions are removed and replaced with a new operating schedule. For a full list of the proposed changes please refer to the application using the details below. The record of the application may also be inspected at Bristol City Council, LicensingAuthority 100 Temple Street, Bristol BS1 6AG between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday – Friday, with the exception of Wednesday when the opening hours are 10.00 am and 5.00 pm or on the Council’s website at www.bristol.gov.uk

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
