What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by PDJ Cinemas Wolverhampton Ltd in respect of premises known as Lockworks Cinema (formally known as Lighthouse Media Centre) Chubb Building, Fryer Street, Wolverhampton,WV1 1HT to Wolverhampton City Council on 22nd May 2025 for a new premises licence
The proposed application is for a premises licence to permit:- 1. Plays, Live Music, Recorded Music,Performance of Dance, anything of a similar description, Indoor Sporting Events and Boxing or Wrestling Entertainments between the hours of 09:00-23:59 Monday – Friday and 00:00-23:59 Saturday – Sunday. 2. Films between the hours of 09:00-02:00 Monday – Friday and 00:00-23:59 Saturday – Sunday. 3. Late night refreshments between the hours of 23:00-02:30 Monday – Sunday. 4.The sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the Premises between the hours of 11:00-02:00 Monday – Sunday. Full details of the new premises licence application are contained within the application form held by Wolverhampton City Council, Licensing Services, Civic Centre, St Peters Square, Wolverhampton, WV1 1SH where the licensing register can be inspected during the Authority’s normal opening hours or online by visiting their website.
Any representations made by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above- mentioned application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the above address or to
licensing@wolverhampton.gov.uk
no later than 19th June 2025 stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
