NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION
OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that We, Greene King Retailing
Limited have applied to Portsmouth City Council on 27th
May 2025 for a variation to a premises licence to use the
premises at the Good Companions, 2 Eastern Road,
Portsmouth, PO3 6ES.To vary the hours for Sale of
Alcohol and Opening hours from 10.00 daily. To amend
condition 13 relating to children’s restrictions. For full
details please refer to the application form. Any person who
wishes to make a representation in relation to this
application must give notice in writing by 24th June 2025
stating the grounds for making said representation to the:
Licensing Manager, Licensing Service, Civic Offices,
Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, PO1 2AL or email
A copy of the statutory
register may be inspected during normal office hours at the
address shown above or online at
The Licensing Authority must receive representations by
the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have
regard to any such representation in considering the
application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the
Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a
false statement in or in connection with an application for
premises licence and the maximum fine on summary
conviction is unlimited.
