What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Parkdean Caravan Parks Limited in respect of Premises known as Pendine Sands Holiday Park, Pendine Sands Village, Pendine, Near Carmarthen, SA33 4NZ applied to Carmarthenshire County Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to update the name as per the application; amend the layout plans to convert the existing launderette into a “Thunderbird Fried Chicken Takeaway” for the use of both holidaymakers and members of the public, to include an outside seating area.

The new takeaway only is proposed for sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises Monday to Sunday 1000 to Midnight and late night refreshment Monday to Sunday 2300 to Midnight; opening hours Monday to Sunday 0800 to 0030 the following morning. Also to amend Annex 2 condition 1 under “General”; remove Annex 2 condition 1 under “Public Safety” and update Annex 2 condition 20 under “Public Safety” in reference to occupancy to be determined by way of a Fire Risk Assessment. All existing permitted licensable activities, hours, layout plans and other conditions are to remain as existing.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email to PublicProtection@Carmarthenshire.gov.uk or by post to Licensing Section, Carmarthenshire County Council, 3 Spilman Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1LE no later than 9th June 2025 stating the grounds for representation.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
