What is proposed?

Public Notice – Licensing Application

Licensing Act 2003

An application has been made to the Licensing Authority for Swindon for the grant of a new Premises Licence by UK Visionary Events in respect of: Polo ground Swindon SN3 1NR

The application seeks the following licensable activities and times: Swindon Carnival is a community festival with entertaining activities for all ages. We will also help local charity through this event. The primary goal of this event is to celebrate communities in Swindon. There will be musical bands, a global food court, a fun fair, children’s activities, and much more.

  • Live Music between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00 on Saturday 5th July 2025

  • Recorded Music between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00 on Saturday 5th July 2025

  • Anything of a similar description falling under music and or dance between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00 on Saturday 5th July 2025

  • Supply of Alcohol for consumption on the premises between the hours of 10:00 and 19:00 on Saturday 5th July 2025

The full application may be inspected at the Swindon Borough Council Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between the hours of 09:00 hours and 16:30 hours, Monday to Friday.

Responsible Authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/business living or working within the vicinity) can make representations at any time between 01/05/2025 and 28/05/2025. All representations must be made in writing (including email or fax), to the Licensing Authority, at the above address or by email to licensing@swindon.gov.uk.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
