What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 PUBLIC NOTICE

Application for the grant of a Premises Licence. Premises: Holm Park Sports & Recreational Ground, Holm Place, Queenborough Road, Halfway, ME12 3DB.

The premises is a sporting facility with a main stadium, a clubhouse with hall and boardroom and additional surrounding buildings for hosting events, competitions, weddings, festivals etc

Proposed Licensable Activities and Hours:

Provision of indoor sporting events: Monday to Sunday 12:00 – 23:00

Provision of boxing or wresting entertainments (indoors) Monday 12:00 – 23:00 Friday 19:00 – 23:00 Saturday 12:00 – 23:00 Sunday 12:00 – 21:00.

Provision of live music (both indoors & outdoors): Monday to Saturday 12:00 – 23:00 Sunday 12:00 – 21:00 Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 12:00 – 23:30.

Provision of recorded music (both indoors & outdoors): Monday to Thursday 12:00 – 23:30 Friday 12:00 – 01:00 Saturday 10:00 – 01:00 Sunday 10:00 – 22:59 (Deregulated) Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 12:00 – 01:30 (Additionally up to two hours before and after any England match, as well as European and World Cup final games that fall outside the specified hours

Late night refreshment (both indoors & outdoors): Monday to Thursday 23:00 – 23:59 Friday & Saturday 23:00 – 01:00 Sunday 23:00 – 23:59 Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve 23:00 – 02:00 Additionally during England games/ European games and World Cup games that fall outside the specified hours Sale of alcohol both on & off the premises: Sunday to Wednesday 10:00 – 23:30 Thursday 10:00 – 23:59 Friday & Saturday 10:00 – 01:00 Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 10:00 – 02:00. Additionally two hours before and after any England match, as well as European and World Cup final games that fall outside the specified hours.

Date to make representations by: 29th May 2025 The licensing application can be inspected by appointment with the Licensing Team.

Any objections to this application must be made in writing to The Licensing Department, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3HT. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. Any person who makes a false statement is liable, on summary conviction, to an unlimited fine
