What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Rugby Football Union has applied in respect of the Allianz Stadium Twickenham Hotel, 198 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW2 7BA for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plans (Drawing No 08-01-01 Rev B & 08-01-02 Rev A). The changes to the plan consist of the following: 1. Changes to internal layout at ground floor and first floor level; 2. Creation of an external area subject to conditions proposed by way of this application. To apply for the addition of off sales, subject to conditions proposed by way of this application. Also, to amend the wording of the non standard timing listed under Alcohol Sales. The proposed plans, conditions and amended non standard timing wording can be viewed on the full application held by the licensing authority and available to view upon request. All currently permitted hours, activities and conditions (save for those proposed by way of this application) are to remain unchanged.

Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Richmond Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils), Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or by email to licensing@merton.gov.uk by the end of 30th May 2025. The record of this application may be inspected Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment at the offices of the Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils), Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm. Information on all new and variation applications received by the Licensing Authority can be viewed on the Council's website: www.richmond.gov.uk

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. Persons can be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
