What is proposed?

LA44 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that Barbaros Inan applied to Hackney Council to vary the premises licence at: 468 Kingsland Road, London E2 8DA In order to make the following variation to the licence:

This variation seeks to allow alcohol to be served on the premises, with seating for 38 people. There is a slight extension of hours proposed, to open at 8 am every day for coffee and refreshments, and for Thursday to close at 2.30 am, (in line with existing permitted hours for Friday and Saturday), and to close at 1am from Sunday through to Wednesday nights. Alcohol may be served from 11 am every day, up until half an hour before these closing times to allow for safe drinking up time. It is proposed to remove conditions 12,14, and 17 on the existing premises licence and to replace with new conditions. These are the new conditions offered: there is to be no DJ, no dance floor, no dancing, table service only, and only background music. All other timings and conditions on the licence to remain unchanged.

The licence register listing details of the variation is held at the Licensing Service, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London E8 1DY (Tel No. 020 8356 4970). Details are also available on-line at www.hackney.gov.uk/licensing. Any representations against this application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Service at the above address, by no later than the 30th May 2025. Residents and businesses in the vicinity of the premises, or their representatives, may make representations on licensing objectives grounds only, i.e. the prevention of crime and disorder, the prevention of public nuisance, public safety and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5000 for an applicant to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
