Application To Vary Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of Excelsior, 121-123 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 2JH for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for: 

This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan (drawing no 24118-501). The changes show a refurbishment including layout alterations, with the removal of the kitchen and reconfiguration of the bar servery, allowing for a larger trading floor. 

This application also seeks to change the hours permitted for the sale of alcohol as follows; Monday to Saturday from 10:00 until 00:00 (current permission 11:00 until 00:00) and Sunday from 10:00 until 23:30 (current permission 12:00 until 23:30). 

The opening hours to the public therefore, also to be amended as follows; Monday to Thursday from 10:00 until 00:30 the following morning (current permission 11:00 until 23:30), Friday and Saturday from 10:00 until 01:30 the following morning (current permission 11:00 until 01:30 the following morning) and Sunday from 10:00 until 00:00 (current permission 12:00 until 00:00). 

All other operating hours, licensable activities and conditions authorised by the premises licence are to remain unchanged. Representation can also be made by post to - Liverpool City Council, Licensing and Public Protection, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. Representations must be received no later than the end of 30th May 2025.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
