Application for Variation of a Premises Licence
Notice is hereby given that Yesterday’s World Ltd has applied to the Rother District Council on 29 th Apri1 2025 for a variation of premises licence for The Lakeside Café and Farmshop, The Lakeside Complex, Powdermill Lane, Battle, TN33 0SU
The proposed application is to permit :
the sale by retail of alcohol between 08.00 and 22.30 Monday – Saturday and on Sundays from 08.00 – 20.30 in respect of the Lakeside Café and Restaurant
Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 27th May 2025 (28 days the day after the application is received by the licensing department) stating the grounds for making said representation to: The Licensing Officer, Rother District Council, The Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, TN39 3JY or by email to

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. Representations must relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives: THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER, PUBLIC SAFETY, THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE, OR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine is £5000.
