What is proposed?
Licensing Act 2003 Premises License
Notice is hereby given that the management committee of the Worthys Spirts and Social club has applied to Winchester City Council for the grant of a premises licence in respect of premises known as Worthies Sports and Social Club, Loader Close, Kingsworthy, SO23 7NJ.
The proposed licensable activities and their hours are: Permit the sale of alcohol on the premises and opening hours 16.00hrs to 22.00hrs, Monday, Tuesday & Sunday,12.00hrs to 23.00hrs Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and 16.00hrs to 22.00 Thursday. New Years Eve extended to 01:00hrs and Bank holidays sales will begin at 12:00hrs
Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Licensing Manager, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrive by 23rd May 2025, details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment. The representations received and the applicants' comments will be taken into account in determining the application.
Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and published on the Council's website. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and that person is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding Level 5 on the Standard Scale.
