Notice of Application for the Grant of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that City Celebrates Limited has applied to Liverpool City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of an enclosed, temporary outdoor event space located at the Pier Head, Liverpool, between the Beatles statue and Georges Parade.

The application seeks to permit the following licensable activities on one weekend per calendar year:
The sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises
The performance of live music
The playing of recorded music
The performance of dance
Entertainment of a similar description

Proposed timings for licensable activities are as follows:
Friday to Sunday - from 12:00 to 22:00 (alcohol sales until 21:30)
Monday - from 12:00 to 21:00 (alcohol sales until 20:30)
The premises will be cleared of patrons by 22:15 Friday to Sunday, and by 21:15 on Monday.

A record of the application can be viewed and representations may be made via the website: www.liverpool.gov.uk/licensingrepresentations Alternatively, call 0151 233 3015 to request an appointment or view in person at: Licensing and Public Protection, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH Representations must be received by no later than 22 May 2025.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.

A person guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
