What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR GRANT
OF A NEW PREMISES LICENCE UNDER
THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given that We, Hickory’s (ROS) Limited
have applied to Sheffield City Council on 16th April 2025
for a new premises licence at the: Hickory’s Smokehouse,
Drakehouse Lane, Beighton, Sheffield, S20 1FW. This
application includes: Regulated entertainment including
performance of live music, playing of recorded music,
exhibition of films, entertainment of a similar description
to that falling within a performance of live music any
playing of recorded music or a performance of dance –
09:00 to 23:00 daily. Sale and supply of alcohol (on and off
sales) – 09:00 to 23:00 daily. Provision of Late-Night
Refreshment 23:00 to 23:30 daily.Opening hours – 09:00
to 23:30 daily. Non-standard timings: licensable activities
and opening hours to be extended by one hour on the
following: the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday of all
statutory Bank Holiday Weekends, the Thursday before
Good Friday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, St David's Day,
St Patrick's Day, St George's Day and St Andrew's Day.
From the end of permitted hours on New Years Eve to the
commencement of permitted hours on New Years Day. On
occasions of local, national or international significance or
for charitable events, limited twelve per year, the finish time
will be extended by one hour, with 15 days’ notice and
agreement with the police. For full details please

make a representation in relation to this application must
give notice in writing of their representation by
22nd May 2025 stating the grounds for making
said representation to the: Licensing Service,
Block C, Staniforth Road Depot, Sheffield, S9 3HD or

licensingservice@sheffield.gov.uk.

The Licensing
Authority must receive representations by the date given
above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any
such representation in considering the application.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act
2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in
or in connection with an application for premises licence
and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
