Licensing Act 2003 Premises Licence

We, Chapter of Winchester, hereby give notice that we have applied on 15 April 2025 to Winchester City Council as the Licensing Authority for the Variation of a Premises Licence for the premises known as: Winchester Cathedral, The Close, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LS. The effect of the variation is to update the licence plans and add one additional condition to the licence.

Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Licensing Manager, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrive by 13 May 2025; details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment. The representations received and the applicants' comments will be taken into account in determining the application. Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and published on the Council's website.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and that person is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding Level 5 on the Standard Scale.
