Notice of Application for Grant Premise Licence

  1. We St Michael’s Hospice hereby give notice that an application was made to Herefordshire Council For a Grant of a licence to operate a premises at St Michael’s Hospice – Sue Parry Tournament, Playing Fields, Hereford Leisure Centre, Hereford, HR4 9UD on/from which the following licensable activities are proposed.

    For a one-day (Saturday or Sunday) event per year which will take place between the 1st May and 1st August annually.

    Live Music (Outdoors), Recorded Music (Outdoors), Sale/Supply of Alcohol (consumption on the premises) Saturday/Sunday between the hours of 11:00 – 23:00.

The full application, giving details about the premise and proposed licensable activities, has been sent to the Licensing Section, Herefordshire council.

This may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the council at Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0LE Monday to Friday by prior appointment ONLY by calling 01432 261761 or by emailing licensing@herefordshire.gov.uk to request a copy

An interested party or Responsible Authority may make representations to the Licensing Section before the end of

(End date of consultation 7th May 2025).

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and a person may be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.

(This is a prescribed form for the notice which applicants seeking a Grant/Variation of a Premise Licence/Club Premises Certificate are required to publish in one local newspaper or newsletter within 10 working days starting on the day after the day on which the application was made and to exhibit prominently at or on the premises to which the application relates for a period of no less than 28 consecutive days).
